Dr. Susie Vogel is a mum to two fabulously fierce daughters. She bought a 40-acre hobby farm in Eastern Ontario in 2025 that is home to numerous rescue animals, many of which are featured in this website's photos. She graduated from The Ohio State University's veterinary program in 2007 and from U de M's FMV in 2011 after completing a large animal surgery residency in their farm animal hospital. Since then she has worked with rodents, rabbits, swine, small ruminants, camelids, cattle, horses, cats, dogs, poultry, exotic animals, and wildlife.

After working in corporate environments and for privately owned practices, Dr. Susie decided to take her passion for veterinary medicine and surgery and bring it directly to your home or hobby farm. She understands each animal is as unique as their bond with their people. Her goal is to provide the care your animals need to ensure quality of life for as long as they are with you. This means ensuring you have access to preventive and urgent care throughout their lives as well as allowing animals to pass with dignity while surrounded by loved ones at home. Euthanasia can be a difficult decision to make, and Dr. Susie will be there to support and guide you through the process.
